What Is Civitas Action?

Civitas Action is a 501(c)(4) non-profit that educates and informs North Carolinians on policy issues as well as the actions of their elected officials.

One of our most useful tools is our Conservative Effectiveness Rankings which allows you to see how your legislators perform on a conservative to liberal index.

We plan to update our rankings as votes of the 2009 General Assembly are recorded, so be sure to check back with us when the Legislature is in session.
